As we celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society (BOS), it gives me great pleasure to unveil a special initiative that honours our remarkable journey — the BOS Digital Museum.

This online museum is a living chronicle of our Society’s evolution since its founding in 1965. It brings together archival photographs, documents, publications, and personal stories that trace the growth of BOS from its modest beginnings to its present stature as a leading academic and professional organisation. More than a collection of memories, it reflects the dedication, vision, and collaborative spirit of generations of orthopaedic surgeons who have shaped our legacy.

The BOS Digital Museum is designed not only to preserve our past but also to inspire the future — reminding every member of the values that define us: excellence in education, service to society, and fellowship among peers. I invite all members and colleagues in the orthopaedic community to explore this digital space, relive our shared milestones, and contribute to keeping this heritage alive for years to come.

On behalf of a grateful BOS, I would like to thank the team of Dr. Sushant Srivastava, Dr. Swapnil Keny and Dr. Taral Nagda who have helmed the BOS History Project and brought it to this beautiful culmination.
