Academically oriented, well-read, meticulous and always putting across his views in scientific meeting and conferences he has a significant contribution to Bombay Orthopaedic Society in clinical meetings and courses.

Born to an anatomy Professor and gifted teacher, trained under legend Dr. D. D. Tanna and imbibed passion for Trauma, he was the first to start ‘hands-on’ Cadaveric Courses of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society.

Teacher in Grant Medical College and JJ group of Hospital since 30 years he has served as head of the department and now works as an honorary professor and pursues his private practice at Saifee Bhatia and Jaslok Hospital. He is a DNB & MS examiner.

An astute observer, a genuine thinker and an incredible leader, he has navigated the BOS through turbulent times during his presidential tenure in the pandemic. His presidential theme ‘Adapt & Evolve became the navigational path for the BOS in the academic year 2021-22.
