Late Dr. C. G. Pradhan
"The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Dr. C. G. Pradhan completed his MS Gen. Surgery from Nair Hospital and was inspired by his teacher Dr. M. V. Sant. He joined Dr. K. T. Dholakia at the Bombay Hospital and was one of his earliest associates.

He also served the K. E. M. Hospital as Asst. Honorary and later became Professor & Chief of Unit. Though he was very strict and serious during his teaching and training commitments, he was a very kind-hearted and warm human being.

He took a lot of interest in the Post Graduate teaching programs and taught Residents at the K. E. M. Hospital, and later at the Bombay Hospital with zeal & fervour. He was very well known for his surgical prowess on the management of stiff elbow and was one of the greatest proponents of Dr. Bhattacharya's Elbow Arthrolysis for this condition in Mumbai.
